Collaborative Projects

editing & Colour Grading

Client Study: Colin cameron // eric l. chen // francisco corbett - “1-800-CASH”

(found footage Edit and design - 2019)

  • Part of the creative team behind an ambitious multimedia gallery event featuring conceptual music, design, fashion, and immersive performance art pieces themed around the 1987 Wall Street crash.

  • Conceptualized and designed multiple performance art pieces; including a water-cooler filled with cash, a secretary who shreds your resume, and a swearing stockbroker that’s chained to his desk.

  • I made this creative video to announce the event using found footage, and also created a long-form art piece from more found footage that played on loop in the gallery.

  • My experience in event management helped tie together the ideas, skills, and artworks of the three other artists into a well-run and curated whole. During the event I was ready to document the show with photography and ensure the smooth running of all parts on schedule.

  • Led to more involvement in the work of local artist Francisco Corbett: more event and gallery show collaboration; Art Documentation of his paintings; and Product Consultation and Photography.

Client Study: the wilderness // jamstone productions - “Garden of england”

(storyboard + Edit and colour - 2024)

  • Brought on midproject as a specialist for preproduction, editing, and colour grading of an ambitious music video shot in the UK by a Kingston-based team.

  • During preproduction I presented visual inspirations; made storyboards; and implemented and tested slow/fast motion camera effects for the director and client team based on their working ideas to date.

  • After the production team returned from filming, I took over post-production under the direction and guidance of the client team. I was responsible for choosing and assembling the footage, presenting working cuts in open editing meetings, and creating the final look of the project with cinematic colour grading.

  • The music video has won several awards since its debut, including People’s Choice at the Kingston Canadian Film Festival, where it premiered as part of the Slaight Music Video Program in 2024.
