How it works:
-
It starts with a conversation about your artwork, where we determine the best approach for capturing your collection.
I recommend working in my downtown Kingston studio for the best results, but options are available to travel to your location.
I devise an expert lighting and camera setup for perfectly even brightness and no glare. Always specific to the unique characteristics of your artwork.
Your work is carefully handled and photographed by an experienced technician who pays attention to the small details and really cares about your work.
I’m experienced with a variety of mediums; very big paintings, sculpted objects, loose canvases, and atypical artforms. -
After working out the process of photography based on the size of your pieces and the resolution you need for printing; I get to work reproducing your artworks.
I use beautiful studio lighting and top-of-the-line equipment to capture your work and deliver stunningly accurate colour reproduction in the digital file.
Advanced techniques using closeup photography allow me to reveal the detail hidden in the finest bristles of every brushstroke.
I adjust the process meticulously depending on the level of detail you need for printing and archiving.
-
I give you conveniently sized JPEG files with standard borders; so you’re ready to share to your website or social media immediately.
You’ll get lossless TIFF files that preserve every bit of data and detail for archiving and demanding prints.
I walk you through understanding the digital files you receive and how to use them best. I can help with the in’s-and-out’s of modern printing methods to ensure your work translates beautifully to both digial screens and physical prints.
Sell more art and grow your audience with print-ready art scans fully licensed for all comercial use.
Prices are determined based on the size of your artworks, the final dimensions of the digital file, transportation, and other factors.
